- Virtual video has limitations and may not reveal concealed or hidden conditions.
- Do not proceed with work involving suspected gas leaks, active electrical hazards, sewage exposure, structural danger, uncontrolled flooding, fire, or immediate life-safety risks.
- Protect people first.
- If it is safe, stop water at an appropriate shut-off.
- Do not force, test, or operate a stuck or damaged valve.
- Do not combine drain cleaners or other chemicals.
- Do not enter a confined space.
- Do not perform work beyond your personal knowledge, ability, authorization, or licensing.
- For immediate danger, leave the affected area and contact the appropriate utility or emergency service.

This Service & Safety Disclaimer applies to all services provided by YVSOLUTIONS.COM LLC ("YV") under the YV Solutions, YV Plumber, YV Pro, and related brands. YV Solutions, YV Plumber, YV Pro, YV Membership, and YV Recommended are brands, programs, or operating enterprises of YVSOLUTIONS.COM LLC.
Nature of YV Services
YV provides virtual information, assessment, education, and professional guidance by live video. A virtual session cannot replace every physical inspection, diagnostic test, permit, manufacturer instruction, licensed trade service, code requirement, or emergency response. Virtual video has limitations and may not reveal concealed, hidden, or inaccessible conditions.
When Hands-On Service Is Needed
When hands-on plumbing service is required, YV's preferred path is to coordinate with a qualified YV service partner where coverage is available. If waiting for a YV partner would create an immediate safety risk, contact the appropriate local utility, emergency service, or qualified emergency professional.
Assumption of Risk and Responsibility for Repairs
YV provides virtual information, assessment, education, and guidance based only on the conditions visible and information provided during the session. YV does not control the property, tools, materials, existing conditions, or actions taken by the person receiving the service.
Any person who chooses to inspect, adjust, install, remove, repair, or replace plumbing components assumes responsibility for deciding whether they have the necessary ability, tools, protective equipment, permissions, and safe working conditions.
The person agrees to stop immediately if instructed by YV, if conditions differ from those discussed, or if any unexpected leak, gas odor, electrical hazard, sewage exposure, structural concern, uncontrolled water, or other unsafe condition appears.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, YVSOLUTIONS.COM LLC, YV Solutions, YV Plumber, and their members, managers, Stewards, employees, contractors, and representatives are not responsible for property damage, water damage, bodily injury, loss of use, additional repair costs, code violations, or other losses resulting from:
- Work performed or attempted by the person receiving guidance or by another person under their direction
- Failure to follow YV safety instructions or recommendations
- Inaccurate, incomplete, concealed, or misunderstood information
- Conditions that could not reasonably be observed during a virtual session
- Continuing work after YV recommended stopping or obtaining hands-on service
- Use of incorrect, defective, incompatible, or improperly installed tools, parts, or materials
YV does not guarantee that virtual guidance will identify every condition, prevent every loss, or produce a successful repair.
When hands-on work is needed, YV's preferred path is to help coordinate service through a qualified YV service partner where coverage is available. Hands-on work will be governed by the applicable partner-service agreement, scope, price, and responsibilities.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
